The CodeFlex 2023 represents the continued dedication and commitment from the second-year students of the IT Web Programming course at NSCC - Truro Campus, following the inspiring footsteps of the previous group that established this event as a valued tradition. As with last year, this will be a hackathon-type event spanning several hours where teams will compete by completing challenges in programming languages such as Python, SQL (through MySQL), and HTML+CSS. Targeting the first-year students of the IT Web Programming course as well as those from the IT Systems Management and 
Security course, this edition promises to elevate the experience to a new level.

Our mission is to create an even more dynamic and engaging educational environment. Through the hands-on challenges mentioned earlier, participants will get a chance to apply and expand the concepts learned during the first semester. More than that, they will immerse themselves in a collaborative setting where innovation and problem-solving are encouraged.

This event will provide an educational opportunity for both the participants (1st-year students) as well as facilitators (ourselves, 2nd years) through the application of our technical skills while building and designing the challenges, as well as improving our project management and teamwork abilities. This event is guaranteed to be a fun and educational experience for all!
